My blog
Welcome to my blog!
I started my journey on 10 October 2022: I travelled to Spain via Switzerland and the south of France to cross the Atlantic from Gibraltar on a sailing boat.
With the Swiss Baici family on their catamaran “Beso del Viento”, I first sailed to the Canary Islands and then from there my mate Jakob joined us and we sailed via Cape Verde to Martinique in the Caribbean!
With Simon and his boat “Julie Marie” I travelled via Guadeloupe to St. Maarten and discovered the Caribbean. From St Maarten I sailed with the Finkbeiner family on their boat “Aracanga” to the Dominican Republic.
Since then I have been travelling through Latin America. I flew to Mexico via Cuba, visited my family and friends there and then travelled south: through Central America (Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama), then bridged the Darién Gap by boat and on through South America (Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia). Now I have actually arrived at my destination: Chile! Here in Valdivia I once completed an internship and in a short time I have found another home.
I’m happy you join me on my journey! I don’t just write travelogues, but also deal with political and social issues. Feel free to contact me at any time with your questions and suggestions!
When I start my return journey soon, my blog will not end there, because I still have many exciting topics in my quiver 🙂
Yours Kai
